We’re not engineers, we’re not corporate giants — just two friends who wanted a clean solution to home water and to avoid buying overpriced bottled stuff that’s terrible for the planet.

Filtin started in a tiny apartment kitchen with a simple question: Why is clean, good-tasting water either so expensive or such a hassle? We dug into it, tried a bunch of filters, and realized there was a gap — either you had to go full-on plumbing mode, or settle for plastic pitchers that barely worked.

So we built Filtin — a no-nonsense, sleek tap water filter that snaps on in seconds, actually works, and doesn’t make your sink look like a science experiment. We tested prototypes ourselves, sourced better filtration materials, and kept tweaking until it passed the "mom test" (as in, our moms liked it too).

Now, Filtin is our way of saying: clean water should be simple, affordable, and kind to the environment. We’re a tiny team, but we care a lot — and we're just getting started.
