Advanced Multi-Stage Filtration
Our formula is built on several layers of filtration media, each targeting different contaminants.
- Durable Transparent Housing: A high-grade ABS/PC shell lets you easily see when it’s time to change the filter. The material is food-safe, BPA-free and built to last.
- Sediment Prefilter: A dense mesh or PP-cotton layer captures rust, dirt and large particles right at the inlet, protecting the finer stages inside.
- Washable Ceramic Cartridge: This porous ceramic block blocks very fine sediment, scale and even some bacteria. It’s rinsable and reusable, extending the life of the filter.
- Activated Carbon Core: The heart of Filtin’s formula is premium coconut-shell activated carbon granules. This stage adsorbs chlorine, odors and organic chemicals for fresh taste, and binds heavy metal ions (like lead and mercury) that can leach from pipes. In fact, activated carbon has been shown to “effectively reduce…chlorine in drinking water” and even cut down on lead.
